Handcrafted Jewelry, Antlers and Rock Art

Robert Burch [b. 1991] is an experimental glass artist unbound by medium or physical location. He creates wherever he is; the mountains of Colorado, New York City, Asheville, etc. As a life-long skateboarder and creative, he is an engaged participant in counter cultural world views and artistic practices. His work is rooted in analog processes however, Robert completed a degree in graphic design [School of Visual Arts, NYC, 2022] at a characteristically unconventional time and has since combined motifs developed across mediums to carve out a style and voice for himself. Robert’s nomadic life is reflected in the myriad media he employs in his work. Primarily a glass artist (he began apprenticing at 16), he adds items such as keys and rocks and other dichotomous materials to glass. He ties rock climbing rope together with rope made of glass, wraps barbed wire around vases, creates human-sized cairns with blown glass stones and found rocks. His use of material is rivaled only by his ability to manipulate it and he is truly unrestricted by a studio. Robert also creates work after considering his environmental impact and thus uses found and recycled materials as well as sourcing 90% of his glass from Jackson County Energy Park located in Dillsboro (about 4 miles from his tiny, off-grid house). Instead, he creates connections and works in studios and in concert with artists around North America and Europe, collaboration and exploration at the core of what he creates. At the beginning of 2024, Robert debuted with nine other contestants on the Netflix glass blowing series, ‘Blown Away’. He is using this opportunity to explore untapped collaborations and creative outlets, to continue the evolution of his creative practice.

Mike Crabtree started shooting photos back in the late sixties while in the Navy. A neighbor in the Chicago area gave him a Baby Brownie, a little box camera that was indestructible, and that started his love of photography. He’s pretty much self taught along with help from respected photographer friends and artists that gave him honest critiques and pushed him to hone his craft. Mike is currently shooting with Canon digital cameras and is quite proficient in Photoshop to correct and sometimes enhance his work. Lots of backpacking in the Colorado Mountains and travels elsewhere have been an enjoyable way for him to make photography an ongoing adventure.

I'm originally from Vermont (the inspiration behind "802"), I've lived in Eagle County since 2012 and have been working with clay for the past five years. My work is primarily functional pottery with an earthy, organic aesthetic, often incorporating textured surfaces, exposed clay, and a palette of neutrals, blues, and greens. While functional ware remains the foundation of my work, I'm continuing to expand my collection with decorative pieces, including wind chimes and other seasonal offerings.

Michael Heffron is a Colorado-based visual artist who blends fine art photography with digital storytelling to explore themes of identity, reflection, and the ever-evolving human spirit. While not a lifelong local, Michael has quickly become a vibrant part of the Eagle art scene, contributing bold, conversation-sparking works that invite viewers to reconsider how they see the world. His work drifts somewhere between reality and reverie. With installations featured at Eagle ARTSPaCE, the Hythe in Vail, Fusion in Eagle, and Avalon in Beaver Creek, Michael continues to push the boundaries of what art is - and what it can make us feel.

Heather McDonald is the founder of Moon Shadow Ceramics and a lifelong artist and educator who has worked with clay since the age of four. After decades of teaching and creating, she followed her passion to open her own working studio, where she crafts functional and decorative ceramics inspired by Colorado's mountain lifestyle. Heather loves introducing others to the art of pottery and creating a welcoming, hands-on environment where beginners and experienced makers alike can discover the joy of working with clay. Her workshops combine expert instruction with encouragement, creativity, and plenty of fun.

Kelle Roberts is a Colorado-based multimedia painter whose work explores emotion and memory through intuitive, process-driven techniques. Centering on emotive mark-making, movement, and tension, Roberts builds dynamic surfaces through layered strokes, gesture, and physical manipulation. Rather than depicting the external world, she translates internal states into material form. Her work exists in tension: between control and release, transparency and opacity, immediacy and permanence. The result is not a representational image, but a vessel shaped by time, pressure, and emotion. Kelle is a third-generation Coloradan. She has a Doctorate in American history and is a published poet. Although she is a dedicated history professor, she identifies as a painter. She believes that engaging with art and artistic practice feeds our souls and builds community.

My name is Jona Siverly, and I began working with stained glass in 2020. Growing up between the mountains of Colorado and living aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean, I draw inspiration from the ocean and mountains in my art. Through stained glass and mosaic work, I explore the colors, stories, and natural beauty of the places that have shaped my life. In Colorado, my artwork is displayed at Arts Alive Gallery in Frisco and the ArtSpace Gallery in Eagle. In the Virgin Islands my art is displayed at the Caribbean Museum Center for The Arts in St. Croix. I also had a solo exhibition at the Vail Public Library. In 2025, my work was featured in the Colorado Mountain College Vail Valley Fine Art Show, where my surfboard mosaic won Best in 3-D Art. I continue to create original stained glass and mosaic artwork inspired by the connection between mountains and sea, blending influences from Colorado’s alpine landscapes and the Caribbean’s islands and sea.
